Engine over revving
Hi i have a 57 plate 2008 audi a4 sline 2.0L tdi. It has got 83k on da clock. When i press on the gas and when it reaches 2000rpm it over revs. If u press on gas gently then its fine. Took it to few garages some say its clutch some not sure, some saying cud be flywheel. Any ideas guys. Dont want to spend £600 to change clutch and find out its not clutch. Thanks

I dont know if this helps on this forum but I had a Honda Accord J series motor do that, it was diagnosed as the torque converter, but seems like yours may be a manual?
