Guys I need your help. I want a b7 a4 but I hear the 4 cylinders are more problematic than the v6 engines. Audi mechanic says get a v6 but I wanna know what the public has to say first. Should I just fork over the extra cash for a v6 or get the 4 cylinder?

Do you want to make your car go faster? If yes, go 4cylinder, if no go 6 cylinder.

Both are fine if you keep up with regular maintenance.

I drive a lot of highway miles at avg 70mph. I hear that 6 cylinders are best bet for that, is that true? As far as the car lasting longer. I had 2 audi turbo'd cars b5 and b8 and both turbos blew before 80k. And am not sure what to expect from a b7.
