Does this sound correct for what is covered by warranty?
I've been swapping some emails with my dealership regarding some warranty work on my vehicle that has 7000 miles on it, and I received this from them today. Does this sound right to everyone? It sounds to me like the warranty/maintenance coverage of Audi's just went down if this is true!
<i>"Warranty provisions have changed a lot from 05 to 06 & up. Any items that are subject to adjustment including wheel alignment, tire balancing, headlights, door, shift linkage and sunroof adjustments, not caused by outside influence or normal wear, are covered one time within the first 6 months or 6000 miles, whichever comes first. Also to make you aware, batteries, brakes, bulbs, clutch disc, remote batteries, shock absorbers & wiper blades are only covered for 12 months or 12000 miles on model years 2006 & up."</i>

whats wrong with the car?
My dealership still continues to balance and rotate my tires for me at my scheduled maintenance appointments (I have just under 35K miles on mine). I was lied to, or rather he avoided the truth, when I bought my car. The sales guy eluded to the fact that brake pads were covered but only for the first 12 months. "Normal wear" is a tricky subject when it comes to warranties.
Everyone's warranties are down a bit... especially Volvo.

The old "vibration in steering wheel" issue
I'm thinking my wheels are not balanced, and I want them to do a road force balance per posts I'm seeing in the forums here. They want to charge me $75 for it. I first asked why they would charge me money to fix a possibly defective part, and then told them I want them to road force balance the tires for free. My original post was from the dealer to let me know what is and is not covered compared to my expectations.
