Cigarette Lighter
I dont smoke often and when i do I have a lighter. but when i use the car's lighter it just doesnt heat up. It pops out of place way too soon and i have to hold it in with my thumb until it's hot enough to turn on a cigarete.
In other cars I've noticed the lighter getting bright red and it has enough heat to turn on 3 or 4 cigarettes.
does anyone else use their lighter?
have you had any problems?
Thanks

My lighter works fine 95% of the time.
Every once in a while it pops out "early" as you described.
I hardly ever use mine though. That's what Zippos are for.
And yes, I smoke in my car.
Everyone that cuts me a check for $606 get 1/60 of a vote as to whether I should or not. :-P
Incidentally, I saw that you keep the front windows and sunroof open when you smoke.
You'll get a lot less smoke and ash blowback if you crack the driver's window 3 inches and leave the sunroof closed while you smoke.
Sunroof + Open windows virtually guarantees "blow back"
You can always open them all up for a while to air out when you're done.
I clean my car regularly, air it out and use a quality air freshener and most people who know I smoke are surprised when I tell them I smoke in the car because they can't smell it.
