Just bought a certified 2005.5 Audi A4 3.2. Does anyone know how too boost the power from the stock 255 HP to 300 HP without voiding the factory warranty? Is it the switching of the chip/exhaust/air filter combination?

You'll need to bolt on a turbocharger or supercharger, but that's big money and they're not out yet and won't be for quite a while.

A lot of the power increase one gets from a chip is realized with a turbocharged engine, like the 2.0T.

There is not much you can do to the 3.2 engine to get to those numbers short of adding a blower.

An air filter won't give you anything worth talking about, regardless to whatever all the manufacturers and some people here in the board would lead you to believe. Ask them to see a dyno chart and they run for the hills.

A chip for the 3.2 would probably give you some small gains but not worth the $$$ if you ask me.

An Exhaust would help some. Maybe good for 8-10hp if that, but the stock exhaust is very decent.

The 3.2 engine is sweet as it is. Enjoy it.

The 2.0T is much more upgradeable.
