does anyone know how to turn down the volume on the car's ringer? Love that the car fades down the radio volume for incoming calls, but the ringer startles my wife every time.

any help? thanks

volume **** on the steering wheel, isnt that what you use to change the volume of the call, works for ringer also

On my Nokia there is a different profile that is active when it is Bluetooth connected. I set the ring volume within this profile.

I think you have to use the volume **** at the time the ringer is working (ie when the call comes in). That setting is then saved for future calls.

I have 2006 A4 with retofitted BT and only my blackberry rings, no ring through the audio, although the green TEL screen comes up and also shows in my DIS. You can adjust call volume through radio *** or MFSW rollers. Also, when I adjust my volume on the blackberry that also adjust the volume through the speakers.
