Any one install Audi IPOD interface with the new MMI in the A4's...Is there a way to do it so you don't lose the CD Changer??? can you use the SAT radio instead if you don't have one???

There currently is no way to not lose the CD Changer.

I am in discussion with an individual on these boards to possibly construct a switch.

My installer wired the icelink through the CD changer port, with a switch to toggle between the changer and the iPod. You don't control the iPod through the nav unit except for volume, but for me that was better than only having playlist access, my main gripe with the OEM connection.

I continually see others on this board having this issue, and asking this question. I can't ever give enough information because I admittedly let someone else do this work, but if anyone wants to know the installer's name, let me know...

Dealer says no, you'd have to try 3rd-party. I am hoping for bluetooth support in next iPods.

i just got a b7 with nav and sirius, and am desperately seeking a seamless way to integrate my ipod .. i don't need the changer.
