Has anyone done this, or at least gotten a price quote? Is the install pretty straight-forward? Does it require different rear bumper? On the front, are there more body parts that have to change than the grille?

Rear visibility is worse than my old car, and I almost installed a backup camera in it. Front isn't such a big deal, but if it doesn't cost too much, it would give me some peace of mind.

BTW, how do parktronic users like it? I've never actually tried it.

Check out navplus.us (I know its changed but address will redirect) for info on the backup camera. If you have nav you just need the camera and wiring harness, and the video-in-motion hack.

If you are set on the parktronic check out kufatec.de. They sell all the needed wiring and components. The install may be difficult if your bumper cover does not have the molded in mounts for the sensors.

Does anyone in the forum know what a good source in China is to buy parktronic sensors for the back bumper of my 2006 Audi A8L ? I need to replace two of them.
My car is Silver and hoping to buy them already pre-painted as getting a auto body shop to paint them told me that the paint will cost as much as the sensors. So I am looking for a China supplier that already sells them in the factory pre-painted colours. Anyone?
