a4 avant .. s-line, sport susp, or do it on my own?
hello friends,
i am looking into getting a b7 avant .. having a hard time finding an s-line without the titanium pkg (i hate the rims) .. was thinking .. should i keep seeking the s-line the way i want it, get the sport suspension pkg, OR do the shocks, etc. upgrades aftermarket?
i don't need much, but coming from my 03 avant with sport pkg, i need something a little stiffer than stock.
i very much want to take advantage of the nice lease deals right now.
also, why does the s-line **** up the residual so much?
any and all feedback is much appreciated.

Regarding the residual difference and the wheels
RESIDUAL:
I *believe* the difference has to do with the depreciation of the S-Line option package(s) and the fact that perhaps Audi realizes enthusiasts will pay more for the car.
WHEELS:
You could always sell the wheels or trade them with someone else.

You know, I've wondered, is the S-Line suspension the same as the Sport Suspension?
IIRC, the website says that both lower the car by the same amount, but doesn't give specifics about springs, shocks, etc.

so .. the supsension on both the s-line and sport susp package are the same? i know that the s-line model comes with placards, paddles, etc.

We liked the added stuff with the S-Line.
We passed on the Titanium package (which is all cosmetic), but the S-Line not only came with the sport suspension, but paddle shifters for the Tip.
The standard S-Line wheels and tires were also things we liked, as well as the fact that the subtle body additions make it different enough from other A4s.
But, obviously, everyone has their personal tastes.

besides the placards and the paddles, there is not much difference .. PLUS the s-line wrecks the lease price .
