I tell my friends that the quality feel and exclusitivity make a few potential repairs more than worth it to me.

BTW, I had 130K trouble free miles in my old A6. My fiancee currently has her relatively new (28K miles) Acura TSX in the shop getting new fuel injectors put on...so much for that hype. The A4 is Consumer reports "recommended", which is not typical for German brands.
