A4 2.0T loss of power from stand still
I had encountered twice a loss of power from stand still while just accelerating, I had my foot on the gas and it was not going anywhere! It was as if the car was going to stall on me, and I have the 7 speed multitronic transmission!
Our local dealer diagnosed it from the fault on the computer as a number not a name as it was a new problem. Thrust or fuel controller ?? They swapped it with one from a new unsold car, but than called me back and said that they were informed by Germany that a new part number was issued and that they have a new part to be installed. So I guess that everyone may encounter this issue some day, I'm at 5000 miles right now on a 2006 model.
Good luck.. oh yeah, they just changed my keys as well !!

Thrust controller says the computer..
They said that they have ordered the new part as the part number has been changed so that means the part has undergone a modification.
