2006 Avant - Opinion
Hey All,
I am looking at purchasing a 2006 A4 Avant with about 43,00 miles, it has the Technology Package, Navigation, Premium Package, Sport Suspension, and 17 inch wheels. It is CPO so has the extending 100K and additional 2 year warranty. (does it have bluetooth?)
I've been reading the forums and wanted to see everyone thoughts on this vehicle and what price would be a fair deal. They want 26K for it.
Thanks,
BA

That seems high, but I haven't shopped around lately. I know the Avants are harder to come by and usually get a premium over the sedans, in the pre-owned market.
If I were to guess, I'd say a 2006 Avant with 40k+ miles should be $22k-$24k.
Let us know how this turns out.

BigAvant,
I just bought a beautiful Dakar Beige 2006 A4 Avant 2.0T Quattro w/. Sunroof Pkg and Polished Vavona Light Wood Trim and 37K miles for $19,900. It's immaculate inside and out. The price was about $5K lower than several Avants with more miles at Audi dealers, some of which were CPO, so I would agree with GermanCarBuff that $26K is a bit high, but the Premium Pkg and the Nav Pkg added $4K to the original sticker so you are looking at a fully-loaded car, and the Sport Suspension & 17" alloys must be NICE!
I traded in my 1999 VW Passat 1.8T wagon w/. 100K. The A4's 2.0T w/. 200HP is more powerful and has less turbo lag than my chipped Passat 1.8T. I don't know if the MPG will be comparable, but I'll soon find out.

Look in the arm rest and if there's a thing for a cradle then you've got bluetooth. They're a little high on the price on that one but check the usual guides for a price check and then work down. $22-24k sounds right like Germancarbuff said.
