Got my cam follower repair refund

After 3 months, Audi came thru with payment to reimburse me for all my costs fixing my bad cam/follower.

You are one of the lucky ones. Good for you. I know earlier posts here on AW mentioned people were only getting partial refunds. For them that sucks!

I was denied any refund because the parts were replaced along with my timing belt and the tech noticed abnormal wear. I guess because the parts did not fail and it was more preventative they didnt want to reimburse. If the parts had failed and I needed a new engine they would have had to pay for that, so I assumed they would have sent a partial refund.
