Default Windshield washer jet alignment

Are there any tips/tricks for adjusting the washer nozzles without purchasing the antenna-like special tool? The nozzles are almost impossible to see, which halts my plan to use a pin to move them.

I'm spraying more washer fluid on other people's cars than my own windshield!

Ps. I cant get the search page to work, anyone else experiencing this?

Default I wash others' cars regularly. I've used a tiny screwdriver, and a pin before.

One of my jets is about toast, so I may replace it.

Default I nailed a pin into a short dowel about 2" long and the thickness of a pencil ...

... then I cut the pin to about 1/2" long with a pair of pliers. Works pretty good.
