Default where's the best place to get ecode housings?

I just want to verify something. from what I've read, you can get much better light output from your stock ballasts with new ecode housings. ?

My first a set of lights were ecodes bought in Germany for my B5 - from an S4. They lit up the whole city and had a sharp cut off line. They had no auto leveling so I got flashed all the time. They were great! I just thought all xenons worked the same until I got my B6 with stock DOT HIDs. The light out put sucks! These, I hardly notice they're on. Even With the 6000K bulbs they're just ho hum.

I was thinking that there was a difference in the ballasts as well as the housings that made my lights so much dimmer than the ecodes. Not wanting to spend$1600 for a set of HID lights when I already have some - I never looked into upgrading. But from what I've read, it seems that I can get that bright light again (as opposed to the reflective light) with just a housing upgrade with my same ballasts. Please correct me it I've missed something.

You do know that 4300K bulbs put out more light than 6000K ones, right?

Default Yea, I learned the hard way. Still have the 4300k bulbs though...

I posted this in a ramble. I guess I should have just asked would I really notice that big of a difference by upgrading my housings to ecodes. I'd be pissed to drop all that cash just for cosmetics.

Default I'd say it's worth it as I have absolutely no complaints about my ecode setup.

Granted I went from a halogen setup, but I've driven several B6's equipped with DOT HIDs (at night) and I personally think the ecode setup is much better (in terms of lighting up the road).
