What to look for when purchasing a b6 a4
Ok, so I'm thinking of getting a pre-owned b6 a4. To be more specific I'm thinking of going with an 02-03 a4 with 1.8t and 5-speed. What are things I should be concerned about when getting a used car, the mileage between the cars I'm considering are 80-110k miles. Anything to look at before buying, long term reliability, any facts or opinions anyone can add. Mods?

Check the belts for wear of course and if they need replacing ask the seller to reduce the price accordingly.
Check all window controls to make sure they are in working order.
Check for leaks under the car.
Check the sunroof for malfunctions
Check the car for errors in the message center.
Check the tires for uneven wear.
A4's are very good vehicles IMHO so good luck in your hunt.

I've been thinking of selling my 2002 A4 Avant, 5spd, sport pck, cold weather package, audi all wx mats, roof, 93K (80K service has been done, all belts, pumps, brakes etc)
