environmental adaptive shielding
it reflects the surrounding environement off of the surfaces of the vehicle rendering it almost invisible.
I think that 007 used this technology on his Aston Martin in one of the movies.

that only works on cops. seriously i agree with clean, headlight technology should be better across the board. brighter, cheaper, longer lasting LED's coupled with the use of mirrors would be great, as well as better control of the beam (i.e. they're bright but don't blind everyone else on the road). i think BMW has been working on something to this effect for a while now, but i'm yet to see it in production.
