I have a 2002 A4 Quattro 3.0 L. I am getting the engine code P0322 Ignition / Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit No Signal. It occasionally is hard to start, and when it starts EPC light is on. If i shut it off it starts right back up w/o EPC light. I am thinking it is teh Cam position sensor. Any way to know which one? And where are they on this model?

I presume that is from a generic reader. A VAGCOM would point directly to the Cam Pos Sensor, known as an ESS on our cars. See below.

I just bought a 2002 Audi A4 quattro 3.0 a few months ago~ An I love it! But I was wondering if someone new why every once in a while after driving on interstate and come to a stop it will smell just a little hot for a for a minute or so! Also i want to add thermostat gauge is right in the middle an i notice no difference in the way it runs! I dont know a whole lot about cars and thought someone on this site might have the answer to my question! Also i was not really sure how to post a new thread so if this is on someone elses I am sorry!
