Hi, I'm debating as to which tires to choose for my car. I live in Vancouver and there's ocasional snow during the winter. I'm looking for High performance All Seasons, and not too pricy.

My original tire is 215/55/16.

Would it be possible to fit a 225/50/16 or 225/55/16 on the same wheel?

Would a 225/55/16 have a thicker sidewall than a 215/55/16?

Here are the three choices that I've made:
Continental ContiExtreme Contact
P-Zero Nero M+S
KUMHO ECSTA Asx

Which one should I choose or are there any better choices?

I use to have Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position. These tires were incredible when they were new but after about 7,000 mi they started to make some noise. By 10,000 mi they were roaring and punishing on rough roads. What's worst was the hydroplaning. IT was downright dangerous in rain. Now I have the ContiExtreme contact. Excellent tire for the money. Very quiet even after 10K. It's not as responsive as the S-03. But incredibly, my gas milage goes from 23 to 25. It's the best all around. Get it from Tire Rack.
