Default Tie Rod Manufacturer Recommendation?

Took the wife's A4 in last week for an alignment but was told that the front passenger tie rod assembly was frozen and needed to be replaced (inner and outer). I looked on ECS Tuning's site and found several tie rod assembly kits that were considerably less expensive than Audi's. Does anyone have any recommendations or have had any experience with the non-Audi kits? This is for a 2002 3.0 that is literally 10 years old this month and I would just like to be able to fix it enough to last maybe another year or so before getting another car; in this case, getting an alignment so the tires don't get trashed.

Thanks!

get any from ECS, germanautoparts.com,purems.com with the following wording:

***Improved design with solid metal body and larger 27mm ball joint (original has 22mm ball joint).*** New design eliminates the rubber isolator, is more stable and has higher load bearing capacity. Front, fits both left and right sides.

Do I need only this to replace the front passenger side or additional parts? Is this the upgraded part that a previous poster talked about?

Thanks!
