so this is weird.. (battery issue)
car doesn't start. had to have a friend jump it and after a few tries the car turned on. last night I didn't drive it and this morning the car doesn't start. took it to sears to get a battery and the tech says the battery is fine it just needs to recharge. he says something in the car is draining its power. weird! I have no electronics hooked up in this car. no phone chargers, nothing! I do leave my key in my ignition in the off position every night in my driveway, do you think this can be the cause? any ideas?

Nope, it times out after 10 or 15 minutes.
I leave my keys in the ignition too, and my car sometimes sits for a week at a time. I do know that if you leave a VAG-COM cable plugged in (car off), that it can drain your battery.

hmm. the guy says it has been slowly draining over time. i am going to assume
that its obv. really low right now and the cold weather is whats killing it. i got it started again today however it now has a cel. i need to run the vag on this thing
