Default temporarily disconnect rear brakes A4sedan

i have replaced my front brakes. tested and they work like a charm.
attempted to replace rear driver side and the damn caliper seal (?) is leaking and i wont be able to purchase new calipers until next tuesday. i understand i wont be able to brake hard and will use back roads that do not go over 40 mph. can i disconnect the rear brakes?

Oh heck, I'll post my 2 cents.

I guess in theory you could, but I never would. Too much potential risk to others.

How exactly do you intend to do that? Is it leaking so much that you can't drive it at all? This sounds pretty unsafe if you ask me!
