Default quattro has failed me
i couldn't get up my hill because of this freezing rain/snow crap. it also didn't help that i had all seasons on.

Default I've gone up inclines that were completely iced over with no problems, even on
all season tires. I've tried with ESP on and off...with it off, the tires just spin but it gets up eventually. With it on, traction control just cuts the wheel spin as much as it can but it got up quicker than with ESP off. But each situation is different.
