Default Question Regarding Key...

I am thinking of buying a new remote shell for my key.

My remote looks like this:

Amazon.com: HQRP Folding Flip Key FOB Shell Remote Case w/ 4 Buttons compatible with Audi A4 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 97 98 99 00 01 plus HQRP UV Chain / UV Radiation Health Tester: Automotive

If i don't want a new keyblade cut, can i transfer the old keyblade to the new remote shell?

Also, around how much does it cost to get a new blade cut?

Thanks.

You can transfer it. It's held by a pin. Punch the pin out and the blade comes off. If the angle of the blade at fully open is 180 deg, look at it at ~150 and you see the pin.
