Default P0688 can't find what's causing it.

Hi everyone, I have a new to me 2004 a4 quattro with the 1.8t. I removed the throttle body to clean the plate and caused a short circuit while being disconnected. The 40 amp fuse in the pcm block blew but as far as I can see, no other problems. The fuse is replaced as well as the ecm/pcm power relay. Crank, no start is where I'm at. Does anyone have any knowledge of this mishap to help a frustrated new a4 owner? Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the fuses in the fuse panel in the side panel when you open the driver’s door? I’d check any fuse related to fuel or ECU, 28, 29, 32 and 34.

Hi Cybersombosis, I checked the fuses that you had suggested and sure enough you were correct. Fuse 29 blown. I changed it and the car fired right up! You've made my day. Thank-you so much.
