P Zero Nero All Season v. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Any reason why you would want the AS over a MS tire or summer tire? In my experience, the AS is not really good at any one thing. Also, if you plan to go to the snow, many places won't allow you past chain control, even with AWD if you have AS not MS rated tires.

Ding! All seasons aren't very good in the summer nor winter. Dedicated summers (and snows if applicable) are the way to go. Once you have dedicated sets you'll wonder why you never did before...

Just bought new A/S tires for my B6 Avant. Was looking at PZero M&S, but the price was too high. Went with Goodyear Eagle GT instead. Only been running for about a week, but initial impression is very good. Very quiet tire. The sidewall is stiff, so there is a little more bump harshness than stock. Performance is very good; dry traction is as good as Pilot Sport A/S, IMO. Price at tirerack was only $113 each! Like you, I wanted A/S capability. Professional reviewers said it does well in snow/slush. So far, I am extremely happy with this tire.
