*ding* I bought a Duralast at Autozone for around $80. It's a battery, that's it.

Default the B6 is already heavy as is. Will 30lb really make a difference? Also is Optima better at long

cycles. Meaning if I only start the car once a week, will it last longer?

Default You are right. Just make sure you also compare the manufacturer warranty terms and the specs.

You want to make sure you're comparing apples-to-apples when looking at price.

Some guys buy the Optima's to get a lighter weighing battery.

Optima's have a better warranty than most and usually a higher reserve capacity rating which is what I was looking for.

Your previous post has the Optima specifications for their batteries.

Do your research and go with what you want at what price you want to pay.

Default I put one in the A4 and love it. Much lighter - and that weight is up high too.
