Default No hot air blowing in my 2003 Audi A4

I have a 2003 Audi A4 and my heater is not blowing hot air. It only blows cold air; even though, the heat gauge is normal (1/2).
Does any body have any suggestions as to what this might be? Thank.

Default Temperature flaps?

Check for codes in the HVAC module to confirm.

Default Re: is it overheating as well?

No, it is not overheating. It works and blows fine as if it was working normal, but it just doesn't blow any hot air. I almost seem like it is something with the coil switch not working, but how would I go about fixing that.

Default Is your heater core warm/hot? If so...

the internal flaps which direct airflow over and or around the heater core, may have one of their electric motors gone bad...

use vag-com to find any codes, and i'd personally bleed the system a bit through the top screw

Default how many miles? timing belt/ water pump ever replaced?

the water pump impeller from the factory is plastic, which is mounted on a metal shaft and can separate from the shaft. Keep us posted on what you find out.

Default How do you flush just a heater core?

Are you talking about the entire system? Thought they were connected.
