It looks like the V6 is venerable to the coil-pack issue too; at a young 4000 miles my car decided to die on the freeway this morning during my morning commute. Ah well Audi Roadside Assistance was great, they got a flatbed truck to me in about 30 minutes and the car is now in the hands of the dealer (who incidentally has never heard of a coil-pack going bad, SURPRISE!!!). they'd better get it fixed today, or I'll truly be pissed...they don't give out loaners and being without a car means I don't get to go to work, and no work means no money, and no money means Audi doesn't get their car payment LOL. Funny how that works isn't it????

Default If you had acquired your Audis from the same dealer that's fixing your car...

for the coil pack problem, that's unbelievably lousy of them to not give you a loaner car. Do you know of other Audi dealers in your area where you can get better treatment?

That's just it. They've got no competition in your area. Hence, no motivation to excel over nothing.

come in with this.

Default oh, and our dealer didnt have a loaner car on the evening when the car went bad

but roadside assistance here got us a hire car, a big vauxhall omega 2.2 auto delivered to our door, and we just dropped it off at teh dealer when the job was done, at our convenience, and drove off in ours, it came with half a tank of petrol, we left it empty... not our problem.

Default Fill out the NHTSA form, to complain that this was a safety issue on the highway....

The more people that fill out the form the more chance they will investigate the problem and push Audi to do something. Now if everyone here just sits on the problem then there never will be an issue with Audi and a possible recall. The last I heard is that the US is out of coils and is awaiting a shipment from Germany.
