Default New rotors, pads, and brake lines installed (lot's of pics)!

Also spent some time cleaning and painting all the calipers to make everything look really nice. I think the effort was worth it. You decide:

And, after 2 days of work the results! Don't pay any attention to the dirty car attached to the nice clean brakes - I'll fix that as soon as it stops raining here.

The job went pretty smoothly - I just hope that the paint stands up to the elements better than the original silver cad finish. Only time will tell.

Default 2nd That!!! Since you've got the calipers all clean, why not paint or at best throw some...

clearcoat to preserve that look as long as possible...
Our nemisis, "Rust" just loves newly cleaned up steel.
Just my $0.02 though.

Well, I used a high-temp engine paint, and I didn't see a matching high-temp clearcoat.

Default Got the pads and rotors from ECS Tuning, and lines from Achtuning...

I think I ended up paying about $500 in total IIRC.

Default My Bad...I just overlooked that you did say you painted on your original post...

Great Paint Job at that...
It looks like shiny steel

Well anyways, this is what I used for mine to bond my 4-Ring Decals...
Can be had at either PepBoys or AutoZone.

Default Very nice job !! Where do buy your Rotors ?

I will do the same job as yours and I want Cadmium Plated (better than Zinc) to avoid rust.

Any comments on the setup, did you use a Bleeder or with pedal pumping ?
