Looking at buying 2005 A$ 1.8T 6 speed.red,130K
Is there a way to figure out if car has sludge issue and oil consumption before purchase and turbo issues?
I was told that even if car has good compression it can still burn more that 1QT of oil/1K.
There is also small clear coat peel on top of quarter panel near trunk, couple of clear coat fading spots on trunk and bunch more on roof. Sun damage or not original clear coat due to accident? Any idea what would cost repair clear coat.
Easier/cheaper to maintain B6 1.8T or B7 2.0T/3.2 with standard transmission?
Owner of local euro specialist shop thinks that 1.8T is the best Audi engine ever made!
