When I get back to my garage tomorrow and pop he hood on my '03, will the hood sensor be apparent? Or could someone tell me where it is? Tonight I noticed the car didn't chirp when I locked it. Then after a few minutes the lights started flashing. The hood open light on the panel is flickering. Thanks.

Well, it's not in the hood itself since there's no wiring running to it. My bet is the latch but I'm too lazy to go check.

The sensor is a microswitch incorporated into the latch itself. Thus the electrical plug and harness:
