like those zebra stripes? Actually, after owning 3 silver cars, I am enjoying the darker color Dolphin gray which shows a high gloss & higher reflection look, even if it is harder to keep it clean.
I am going crazy now waiting for all the parts i ordered to arrive so we can do the wanted mods. Its a little christmas ever time another box arrives. lots of fun actually.

Thanks JayP. For me, when I first get a car, that is the best time to do the stuff to it I really want to do. Otherwise, I end up getting used to the short comings, run out of money for the project, or just get busy with something else. I may do a few other upgrades sometime down the line as well,(Borla exhaust?) but want that extra 65 pounds of torque from the stage 1 Revo, and the handling that the Konis and new front end will improve a lot (I hope)
I also figure if I do all this stuff at once right now, I can start enjoying it now instead of waiting 2 years for stuff to really wear out first!
By the way. Sold my 97 yesterday. A few more bucks for the 1.8T improvement project! Was kind of bitter sweet. I drove that car for 7 years and really took good care of it. it looked and drove better the day I sold it than the day I bought it. It isn't easy selling a car right now either with the economy. I didn't get much action on the 97 even though it was a great looking car, and I priced it low.

RE: Harsh-riding Sport Suspension
I've had a CPO 2005 3.0 Avant for a few years now and mine also has the harsh ride you have mentioned. I finally broke down and bought a decent tire pressure gauge and discovered my tires were overinflated quite a bit. I am running it at about 30 to 31 PSI all around now and it made a noticeable difference in ride comfort. I talked to a Service Advisor at Dinan (BMW perfomance tuner) when I was looking at the FSDs and he said in his experience with BMWs that in some cases ride comfort improved but that it also jacked up the ride height on sport supsensions.

I also read maybe a 1/2 inch raise in ride height, at least initially. I can live with that because of the way the roads and parking lot entrances are around here. A small amount more ground clearance would be useful.
