B6 A4 3.0, got CEL few days ago; P0741. It seems everyone who got this code ended up replace the torque converter. The car is running about 105000 miles and never change the transmissioin fluid before (I'm the original owner so I know). How many people here actually get rid of the code just flushing the transmission fluid? The car drives ok, no noise from TC and no leak.

Hi kchao2000, just a suggestion for you that may lead to some responses. Why not set this up as a survey. I have never set one up personally, but have seen a number of them on here. There should be a help aid somewhere on AW for you if you have never done this before.

All you would have is a yes (code cleared) or no (code did not clear). Just a thought.
