Help with P0352 fault code please, archive search found nothing.
While driving home the other night my 2002 A4 3.0 started to run very rough and the check engine light started flashing. I pulled over, shut it off, and then restarted it and it ran fine. The check engine light remained on. I continued my way home (~25 miles) and twice it shuttered momentarily but then kept running fine, check engine light was solid on all the way. The Bentley manual indicated the P0352 fault code as "Ignition Coil (B) Cyl.2 Prim./Sec. Circ Malfunction". So my questions are:
1. Which side middle cylinder is #2 driver or passenger?
2. Is the #2 cylinder in Bank #1?
3. Has anyone had a similar experience with a temporary coil failure?
TIA
Jack

bad spark plug(loose?), oil contamination (valve cover gasket), water, coil pack popped up
but yeh they can fail or its a precursor to failure.
other types of failures like massive vacuum leaks can cause misfire codes but that sounds like a bad wire or coilpack
