Stock Suspension - How long until it needs to be replaced
How many miles should you expect to get with the stock suspension?
When it's time to replace I want to move to a more sport tuned option. Right now I have 40K miles on a 2004 1.8T Q A4.

Should be around 100k for the shocks. Springs rarely need to be replaced on a car unless
you're looking to improve handling/lower/etc.
I'm at 93k miles and am looking to replace my suspension soon. Can't really tell if my shocks are going or not. Ride isn't really bouncy or indication of them going but I'm sure at that mileage, it'd benefit from a replacement.
