Default Factory or Thule/Yakima Roof Rack?

Any opinions on wether or not a Factory rack is better than Thule or Yakima Roof Racks? I'm trying to decide on either for my mountain bike addiction.... Tired of shoving the bike in the trunk!

Happy Hump Day!

I would recommend the Thule or Yakima route as parts/support for these systems are widely available. I would hate to have to rely on the Audi dealer for any rack parts.

You'll have more flexibility with accessories with either the Yakima or Thule. Add a box, skis, kayaks, whatever. They'll be able to accommodate changes in your lifestyle a little better - you can adapt them to other cars (you know, when you really need to take the mountain bike on the R8 for a weekender).
