Default Here you are sir... : - )

Linky below...

The filters have higher CFM than stock and K&N.

They have better micron filtration of particulate matter than both as well.

Superior construction, material, & factory fit.

Buy two so when you wash, dry, and re-oil one, you can drop in the other... lower downtime.

Hope this helps !!!

http://www.carxpressions.com/performance/green_filters.htm</a

Default Actual tests? I'm curious if anyone has compared Audi OE filters to AFE, Green, K&N, etc

I know Audi's specs may be a little tighter than say, GM, Ford or Dodge, in which you would probably see gains over their stock filter...

Them Germans are a picky bunch

Linky?

Default I just like having hard data to back up claims :)

Before dropping $$$ on "performance" parts... ...way to much junk out there that make all sorts of "claims"

Default Hard data...

$40 is not to much to spend to test one out...!

Are your wheels two different diameters...?

What is the hard data on that? ;-)

>>also not a lot to screw things up... ...no wait, it only costs $15 for a re-oiling kit...which can really mess things up if abused

Are your wheels two different diameters...?
>>nope

What is the hard data on that? ;-)
>>they're the same size. I have pictures

Default Sir, the only way...(more)

...you 'screw the car up' with a Green drop-in filter is if you over-oil the filter. Right out of the package it is perfect.

The only item that can actually be affected by over-oiling the filter is the MAP or MAF. You cannot mess up O2 sensors.... or anything else for that matter.

Since I never have never over-oiled a filter I do not have to worry about it.

Car runs perfect. Cheapest free HP you can get... and alot less 'dangerous' than chipping. Also, my warranty remained intact.

Extra HP... extra mileage.... nothing broken... Hmmmm... I think that sounds like a best-case scenario. The sound of it is nice too !

The wheels on the car in your sig look like they are different diameters... Guess it is an optical illusion. :-)

Thank you, that is all...
