I think you should pioneer a hood intake. Then it'll truly be CAI.

I swear someone had one on a B5 back in the day.

Default why don't you make something similar to the carbon fiber "darintake" the B5S4 folks are running

look up X-1 Racer, i believe he's the creator of that

Default The darintake" concept is interesting... but frying my MAF always freaks me out.

They seem to bounce back and forth from cutting on the wheel side of the airbox, for colder air, and on the front of the airbox for a more ram-air effect.

But the question remains... what will MikTip be doing?

Default take a look at LS1 camaro and corvette air intake design

aka the whisper lid. upside down panel.

you want the cold air to not RAM the filter (kone) but to flow fast over the entire area of the panel.

the current design sorta does this with the hose that comes out the side and runs facing the rear of the car (hidden under the wheel well)
