dealership crashed my car

make sure there is no suspension damage, i would get your
own insurance agent involved. Since the other party is at fault, you want to make sure they pay out enough to cover your damage. I have seen an accident happened at a car wash as one car wash guy pull the car out and hit the other car whose door was open -- just hit the door and the door opened 180... You should see the owner's face, as if someone had drop-kicked his baby... ultimately the car was in your dealer's possession, they are responsible for it. Sometimes (I have been in one) when the impact of the crash throws off the entire dyanmic of the car -- if they have to straighten the frame and stuff. Imagine all that energy has to be absorbed somewhere -- for bumper and hood and fender? you're looking at 8K at least. If it doesn't drive the same, see if you can trade in for equal value or better on a newer car! (since they are the largest Audi dealer in the world...)

Re: Airbag deployment is bad.
Well, that's what's been on my mind. The dealership is doing all that they are legally obligated to do, which is restore the car to pre-accident condition and give me a loaner car until all work is done.
But like you say, the will not be the same and there is some lowering of value due to the fact that the car was in an accident, even tho it will be fully repaired. So what kind of recourse does the dealership have in that regard, if at all?

See if you can get "diminished value"...
Is the dealership handling it exclusively, or is there a insurance company involved ?
I'm not sure if I could trust a dealership to fully comp you...You may get the car fixed back to how it was, but then if you ever try to sell it then you will personally take the loss...
Mind you as others have already mentioned, your car value is not much anyway at this stage.
Personally I'd be happier with getting it totaled and getting the money in your pocket to put towards a newer car.
Once airbags go off, I don't want to drive in the same car again...
You should have your insurance company handle it for you, it is not your job or your fault...
