Monday during commute,my car starts to buck and hesitate when accelerating on traffic. Mostly happens on midrev (2000-3500 rpm).When I pull over and rev the car on Neutral, I notice a Hiccup or hesitation just past 2000rpm when blipping the throttle.Throttle seems to respond slower too.Then CEL finally came on by the time I got home.

Not having a VAGtool, I did a routine tune up: changed the sparkplugs, check hoses for vaccum leaks (find none), clean and re-greased the BPV and cleaned air filter and MAF with MAF spray cleaner.fill tank with gas and add STP fuel system cleaner additive.

At initial test drive, the car seems to run normal again...but after about 20 mins. driving, symptoms came back again (bucking and hesitating at midrev.

Before I go take the car to a shop....Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong with my ride?....THNXS.
