Default Brake pad sensor warning will not clear.

2002 Audi A4 1.8. No Fault Codes with VAG-Com.

I cant get rid of the brake pad warning ((0)) so I purchased and installed the ECS Brake Wear Wiring Harness (ES#1832893) and the warning is still there.

I also purchased the ECS Brake Wear Sensor Loop-Square Round Connector (ES#8014) but I am not sure how this would help.

Pads are new, with new sensors.
I also checked the brake fluid and it is full.

Any ideas?

Default

You should have 12v on one pin of the connector at the wheel, which feeds through the "sensor" inside the pad and back through the other to indicate the pad is OK. The jumper you bought eliminates the pad wiring. So when you use it there is no longer any warning and you need to monitor the brake pads yourself. You will need one jumper per side.
