What is the best performance suspension and sway bar set up for the 3.0 ? And can I just use a 1.8 t setup of would the weights vary too much ....

best sway bar is the rs4 rear sway, its a 22 mm bar compared the 18mm stock and 20 mm s4 sway. you can get it for $100-120 shipped. some say its the best mod for the money. it corrects a lot of the understear and roll experience going around corners. most dont do the front sway bar, but you can get the H-sport sway bar package and do them both if you want.

there are a lot of opinions on other suspension components, coil overs, springs and shock set ups. you can go over to audizine and search around, plenty of info over there.

I like the stock sport springs and shocks. I changed from my stock non sport and love it. IMO the other setups are too low. Unless of course you can do coilovers, then you can adjust them. You can find the sport sets around. Just be sure to get the 4 color codes info on any spring set you buy and check with your local Audi parts desk to make sure that they are 3.0 compatible.
