We have a customer that is looking for an A4 and whats to do some heavy modifications to it. Basically he wants an A4 wagon that can get about 500hp.

As with any customer he wants it yesterday. Does anybody have any recomendations on what engine we should look at to be modified? We've figured out that the 3.2 is pretty much out of the picture thats why we've moved to the A4 or S4.

An A4 1.8T brought to 500 hp can be done, but you will have to build up your internals, clutch, etc. to do so. If the customer is willing to do such mods, then yeah, sky's the limit. I would say the 1.8T is the easiest to modify over the other options, simply from the fact that there are just more parts available.
