A4sauc

so ive replaced battery before. pop the terminals off and then the 'clamps' or wutever holding the battery in place. but when i tried to do it to my 02audi a4 1.8t fwd, i couldnt figure it out. i took the terminals off and tried to pull it off but then i saw a alan wrenched bot the right in the front middle of the battery. so my ??? is that the 'clamp' that holds it in place? do i have to have a special tool? bc my alan wrench would not reach it or cant get it thru.

You may have to take the bar off- held on by 5 allen heads.
You can take the battery mount allen off with a long t-handle tool.
