Do a search, I think there are plenty of cases of this with solutions.

Default there is a proper fix in the archives that involves replacing the clips that snap...

but mine did it so many times i got ghetto on it and finally just glued it with crazy glue and its never opened up again, top or bottom.

Default Chances are the plastic clips broke and need to be replaced.

Audi sells a replacement kit that uses metal clips instead of plastic ones.....part number 8E0898035....here's a pic. Each kit can fix one seat back.

And.....if your clips broke, its usually because the lumbar support bracket has broken. Here's one way of a few on how you can DIY fix the lumbar support and avoid having to purchase a new one.

Default This is what the inside of your seat back should look like.....

Three push-clips inside top, and two female clip holders inside bottom (the metal pieces in the replacement kit insert here). Looks from your pic that you do not have the top inside clips. Your bottom clips may be fine -- thus no clip kit may be required. Still a good idea to take the seat back off and check the frame of the lumbar support.
