Default B6 S4 Recaro seats in a B6 A4? Has it been done?

Hey guys.

I would like to put 2004 B6 S4 Recaro seats in my 2005 B6 A4 1.8T.

I searched here and the net and can not find any threads regarding this retrofit.

I need to know what cables/connectors etc... that I need for this and if adding the memory control on driver door has been done and is possible.

I stumbled across threads where B5 guys wanted them but no actual install threads related to the B6.

Can any of you point me in the right direction to sites or provide links to any buld threads that you know of?

Thanks.

Direct swap if you have power seats. If not, two feues have to be replaced. One under the steering wheel and one in the passengers bottom A pillar.

Thanks heateris.

I have a full power driver seat in my 1.8TQ USP and a manual sliding pax seat with the one power dial for lumbar in the right seat.

Do I need to add fuses in the existing fuse boxes or what? Any chance you have a link with some pictures and/or instructions that you could provide?

Also, do I need any cables/wiring harness to hook up or are they already under my stock seats?

you should have no problems then. simple DIRECT swap. you'll just need to upgrade the 10amp fuse in the passinger side footwell to a 30amp. it's behind the lower A-Piller cover.

Heateris - what about the passenger seat rail trim mouldings? Can I reuse mine with the Recaro seat rails?
