Default Assistance Required - Fault Codes and your Opinion Please?

Hi All,

I am not sure whether to get rid of my b6 Quattro 1.6 or fix her. ESP light issue, which has now rendered the car undrivable. Im in need of some honest help, so anything you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, i have run vag-com and below are the codes. Although using a trial version, i have filled in the fault information to make it easier.

Are these small fixes? Im guessing the Misfiring is a result of all the mishandled computing? Does anyone have a rough idea of what $$$ im likely to pay/is reasonable? I just seem to get ripped off everytime with this car (euroclass richmond $1100 for major service, later found out timing belt wasnt replaced yet was charged for it)

Everything has "intermittant" status, lucky me :P

It has a huge air leak causing an extreme lean condition causing misfires. breather Parts broken, intake hose blown off, intercooler broken if its turbo, other intake hose broken or rotten.

Thanks for your reply, it is Turbo.

In translation then.... this is going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix isn't it? Any suggestions?

Intake hoses are generally not that expensive, just sometimes difficult to find. In your case, it shouldn't be that hard because as posted below, it is probably a big leak.

The steering angle sensor could be another story. Never read of anyone that has had that issue.

I have seen a couple of DIY guides on the net, its a sensor that sits behind the Air Bag.
