Default Allow me to Introduce...

Hello all of Audiworld! I thought I would introduce myself! For those of you who are not familiar with Autoscope, I would like to take this opportunity to give you all a brief overview and introduction to our company, and the services that we offer. My name is Adam and I direct the internet operations for Autoscope. We have 26 years of experience with luxury and foreign autos. Our services include maintenance, repairs, tuning, upgrades etc. on everyday driving vehcles all to way to full track racecars.

Currently, we have three locations in the Dallas area, with our most recent location we were fortunate to have Ecarlink and Dream Garage as our neighbors. The Dream Garage is an amazing facility with individual space for collectors and enthusiasts to store their cars and show them off. It is staffed with a full-time maintenance and detail crew. Clients can finish their space as extravagantly as they wish. There is also a high-end car dealership (ecarlink.com).

In our facility, we are fortunate to have the first ever Dual AWD side-by-side Mustang Dynos so that you and your friends can literally race each other.

In addition to the dynos, we also have an RFactor racing simulator. This is an amazing driving experience, which gives you access to the same equipment the pro drivers use in the off season. It has almost every track in the world, and an extensive database of cars you can drive. The experience is unreal. It allows drivers to gain amazingly realistic experience driving their own cars. The feedback is identical to that which you would experience in your vehicle. Come in and practice, or challenge your friends!

Impressive set-up! But any concerns with the tough ecomonic times that you're opening in to?

Default Nice to see you here, I'm one of your customers!!!

Nerces installed my GIAC big injector flash 2 years ago at your Coit & Plano Pkwy shop. You guys stand behind your products & treat your customers well. The latter is why I chose you over the APR shop a few blocks down the road from you. You should also visit www.northtexasaudigroup.com as well.

Default Dallas has been immune to the economic conditions for the most part.

Actually, almost all of North Texas is still thriving. Our housing values are still going up, & only a few employers are laying off. Not trying to get political, but all in all the government here works the right way (not perfect, but better than most).

Default I would argue that our "immunity" has very little to do with state and local government...

being "better" than others.

I would argue that it has much more to do with the low growth of the housing market here compared to the coasts and elsewhere. Because there has never been rapid property value growth in TX, there has not been a corresponding crash. Flat housing prices coupled with a wealth of affordable housing leads to far fewer people getting into mortgages they can't afford.

Additionally, the costs of living and labor are lower, so companies (and people) can ride out the "storm" far longer than those in other parts of the country.

Many of the local municipalities here are going through the same troubles as other government outfits. Budget deficits, layoffs, cuts, etc. It's all happening with our governments too.

While a government (local & state) can have an affect on the severity or longevity of a particular economic spell, I would not give them full credit in this case.
