Will someone please help me make sense of this
I have a MY05 B6 A4 1.8T for which Audi sells a Glove Box CD Changer (albeit at $400 and some change).
So what is the sense in eqiuping the stock car with a glove box in which the CD-Changer doesn't fit into?
Please tell me it's not just to get the $749.00 more for the compatiable glove box. I want to think better of Audi than that.

I already have the Symphony II w/in dash 6 CD Changer (came stock). Just added XM..
and after the Huper Optik tint this month I'm thinking about the RNS-E.
I have a huge CD collection and can't see making MP3's out of em each time I want to listen to something.
Besides I'm not to overly fond of the way MP3's sound. I think they sound "tinny" sometimes and or lack the range when compared to the disk.
What's the "phatnoise" thingy?

It is generally true of mp3s, but a car is really a bad place (acoustically) to listen to music...
already so the quality difference won't be apparent.
Mp3s are fine for car listening.
